Day Tour – Drakensberg and Bushmen Rock Art

08h00 – Breakfast

08h30 to 09h00 – Background “Briefing” on Bushmen history/culture and geology of the Drakensberg

09h00 – Depart for the Crane Sanctuary

10h00 to 10h30 - Short guided tour to view all 3 species of endangered cranes and hear about the conservation program

10h30 – Depart for Giant’s Castle Reserve

11h15 to 12h00 – Walk to the Bushmen Cave

12h00 to 12h45 – Guided tour of the Bushmen Cave

12h45 to 13h15 – Return to the office/restaurant complex for a light lunch on the deck

13h15 to 14h00 - Lunch

14h00 to 15h00 - Return to accommodation via Mooi River. [Short tour of the township if required]

Instead of getting back early, there will the opportunity to call at 2 or 3 of the Midlands Meander outlets to view crafts or to shop. We then arrive back at about 17h00
